For Comfort Keepers the rewards of providing companionship, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and shopping with a senior are not measured in a clean house; the reward is measured by the health and happiness of the senior.

Homemaker/Companion

Responsible for non-medical, in-home support services which provide for the comfort, safety, and general supervision of clients. Provides companionship to those individuals requiring socialization and/or minimum guidance to assure a safe, protected, clean, and orderly environment.

The duties of a Homemaker/Companion Aide might include meal preparation, light housekeeping, errand services, grocery shopping, transportation to appointments or stores, doing laundry and changing bed linens, washing dishes, etc. This is not a complete list of duties, it's just a sample of some of the most frequently requested services from our clients.

Personal Care Aide

Responsible for non-medical, in-home support services which provide for the comfort, safety, and general supervision of clients. Provides companionship to those individuals requiring socialization and/or minimum guidance to assure a safe, protected, clean, and orderly environment. Also, provides personal care and support services to clients.

Personal Care Aide might include all of the above services plus some personal care services. Personal care services might include helping the client with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, incontinence care, hygeine care. This is not a complete list of duties, it's a sample of some of the most frequently requested services form our clients.

Care Coordinator

Care Coordinator is a position that is tied to our quality assurance plan at Comfort Keepers. Care Coordinators build relationships with clients, perform client wellness checks, handle client complaints or incidents, manage caregivers, and document services. This is not a complete list of Care Coordinator duties. In order to be a Care Coordinator, you must have been a caregiver with us for at least one year.
